First before making the pinhole camera we learned what photography was, what is in a camera and how the camera works. It works by recording images either as a still photograph or as moving images known as videos or movies. We also learned about what photography genes there are and what they are used for some examples of genes are black and white, high speed, portrait and commercial. Also we were told what a shutter, lens, and aperture what they are used for. Found out what the exposure control is and how to work out how long you should exposure the pinhole. My exposure time was one minute outside and twenty minutes inside.
To make the pinhole camera I had to get a box and paint the inside of box black so there was no unwanted light in the box bouncing around. I paint mine with a couple of coats to make sure. I then had to make a square hole in the side of the box. To put my pinhole in the foil which I put over the square. I made the pinhole by putting a pin through the foil. Then I had to make the shutter I got a square piece of cardboard bigger enough to cover the pinhole then just got a piece tape to be made as a flap to cover. Covered all the sides with tape to make sure the box was light tight.
When I did it I had to expose the pinhole for one minute outside and twenty minutes for being inside. After I had waited I went into the darkroom then I put the photographic paper in the chemicals then some water to fix the photo. Then had to dry the picture and see what it was like.
